Intrax Cultural Exchange Canada offers Homestay accommodation with carefully screened, friendly families in the Vancouver area. The homestay experience is one of the best ways you can immerse yourself in the English language, practice your conversational English skills and gain an enriching cultural experience.
Intrax Canada has developed trusting relationships with local families, and we work closely with both the family and student to ensure that the experience is positive and enriching for both. As a result, we only place students with families who are eager to open their hearts and homes to enable students to experience Canadian culture first-hand. We offer both single and double occupancy options.
Highlights
- Homestay families provide Intrax Canada students with 21 meals per week. The Housing Coordinator at Intrax Canada is also available to answer any questions you may have regarding living with a Canadian family.
- We take extra care when placing students from our Youth Bridge Program in Homestay. We work with a select few host families who have experience with hosting younger students. These families are carefully screened and students are monitored throughout their stay.
- Please note, our Housing Coordinator needs at least 4 week notice prior to your intended arrival date to book your homestay. The Housing Coordinator at Intrax Canada is also available to answer any questions you may have regarding living with a Canadian family.
- Intrax Canada Homestay fee: $30 (CAD) per night
